The
IFCSF and Fashion Group International cordially invite you to a
Cocktail Party on Tuesday, May 18th, 6:00pm-8:30pm under the historical
Westfield Dome. Come meet new people from the world of fashion and
beyond while sipping a cocktail, viewing the latest FGI Trend video,
and listening to DJ Melvin "j" spinning tunes.
This evening we will host a panel discussion on fashion, sustainability, and the latest trends followed by a Q &A session. Our panelists are the following fashion pioneers:
Margaret Sche
Former head of Fashion Direction for Forever 21 and fashion editor for FOAM magazine, assists Global retailers, designers and manufacturers in developing niche markets through creative direction, business strategy and market forecasting. She is dedicated to empowering designers to become more transparent in reducing overall waste through editing and innovation. She has partnered with global-influencer brands such as Tommy Hilfiger,The Sak and American Rag and her fashion styling images created for advertising, editorial and celebrities have appeared in publications such as In-Style, Vanity Fair, Surface, Teen Vogue and Nylon.
Lynda Grose
Identified in 2008 by London's Financial Times as one of the "green power broker" cofounded ESPRIT’s ecollection line, which was the first ecologically responsible clothing line developed by a major corporation and set pioneering standards for the textile industry. As a practicing designer, consultant, and educator, Lynda has worked with clients ranging from artisans and farmers to nonprofits and clothing companies, including UNDP, The Sustainable Cotton Project, Aid to Artisans, Gap Inc, Market Place India, Patagonia, Green Peace, 13-mile Farm, and Shayan Craft Center, to name a few.
Amy Williams
Among serving as the current chair of CCA's Fashion Design Program, Amy also served as senior lecturer for Fashion Design at Otis College of Art and Design, Los Angeles, and a lecturer at FIDM, Los Angeles, where she was noted as "faculty of the year." Amy's work as a designer ( women’s designer knits, sweaters, and active sports products for the ski and swim industries) has been photographed for Women’s Wear Daily, California Apparel News, Active Sport, Vogue, Elle, and Glamour, to name a few. Her clothing has been sold worldwide in high-end design boutiques, department stores, and catalogs/websites.

Keylee Sanders
Besides being the founder of Style Studio, Keylee is a fifteen-year veteran in the fashion industry and much sought after stylist and style expert. She writes for several outlets about fashion, style, and trend; including the very popular Style Studio Blogette. The Style Studio client list includes: E!, Good Day LA (FOX), Good Morning Texas (ABC), Daily Buzz (The CW), View From the Bay (ABC), HGTV, Elle Magazine, Life & Style Magazine, Macy’s, Neiman Marcus, Edition by Banana Republic, Game Show Network, MovieTickets.com, Big Picture Group, Steele Films, Miss California USA, TART Clothing, FamBrands, Flit.com, Vivanista.com.
